What Is AYC? 

Mission Statement

Apostolic Youth Corps (AYC) will facilitate the pairing of ministry-minded Pentecostal youth and North American and international sites which need and desire evangelism assistance. AYC will provide evangelism opportunities within North America or international sites. AYC candidates will assist Foreign Missionaries, Home Missionaries, Campus Ministry International, Global Campus Ministries, Metro Evangelism, and/or Multi-Cultural ministry.

Age Requirements

AYC Global short term trips are open to applicants 17-35 years of age. AYC North America short term trips are open to applicants 16-35 years of age. Married applicants must travel with their spouse. Applicants with dependent children will not be considered.

Application Process

AYC 2013 will introduce a new online-only application process, which will go live on November 1st, 2012. Candidates for AYC will be required to complete an online application, compose an essay, and submit various reference recommendations prior to the application deadline of February 1st for Global trips, and March 1st for North American trips. There is an application fee of $100. The application must have the approval of the candidate’s pastor and is evaluated by the General Youth President. Budget

Each AYC participant must raise his/her own budget. Support may be acquired from relatives, friends, and the local church. However, applicants are not allowed to itinerate from church to church as done by career missionaries. All funds must be U.S. All budgets are subject to change and include international airfare (AYC North America trips do not include airfare), hotel stays, meals, medical insurance coverage, visas (if required), transportation, sightseeing, and insurance expenses. Budgets do not include passports, immunizations, luggage fees, souvenirs, or airfare to and from the North American departure city (for AYC Global trips). The departure city is determined after the application deadline.
